Heron Lakes Country Club is a Semi-Private, 18-hole golf course in Mobile, Alabama.
Heron Lakes County Club golf course, formerly known as Skyline Country Club and first opened for play in 1954. The par-72 course was designed in 1954 by Harold Stallings.
The Heron Lakes subdivision, started in 2000, allowed course designer Earl Stone to create four new challenging holes surrounded by six lakes. Heron Lakes CC renovated all 18 greens in 2004, converting them to Champion Bermuda grass.
This is an old and established course with tree-lined fairways and elevated greens. The fairways have been wide open since Hurricane Frederick came through in 1979. However, the Champion Bermuda greens will test any golfer putting from a poorly struck approach.
The Club has an excellent practice facility with a 300-yard driving range, practice bunkers, and a 7,000 ft two-tiered putting green.
Gold tees: 6,848 yards, course rating 72.9, slope rating 127.
Blue tees: 6,440 yards, course rating 70.9, slope rating 124.
white tees: 5,913 yards, course rating 68.5, slope rating 121.
Red tees: 5,264 yards, course rating 70.9, slope rating 119.

Great Greens, Fast but fair. Very good course, but fairly simple layout.
